Follow.

There is no pre-requisite to learn this Course or to be happy. All that is required is a willingness to question the ego and to follow the Spirit unequivocally. When we give our life to the Spirit, it becomes truly amazing. As we step back and let Him lead the way, we watch in wonderment at how the Truth reveals itself to us.

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and all else will be added unto you” is actually true. But this is not experienced by the mind that believes it has to handle certain aspects of its life alone (its finances, job, “mundane” chores, etc..). What the heart longs for is the experience of deep connection with Spirit; knowing that it is aligned with Love and feeling that Love is working through us in every action we seem to undertake.

This alignment is only possible when we are willing to sincerely pray, listen to and follow the intuitive Guidance that is given to us, moment by moment. No task is experienced as “mundane” when it is Guided. Following Guidance then becomes a means to remember our natural state of Perfect Contentment, Ease, and Joy.

We don’t guide ourselves to healing — we follow the Guide who knows the way

Following

The importance of receiving and acting on spiritual guidance.

Guidance isn’t limited to an audible voice but can manifest in various forms, including seemingly coincidental events or interactions with others. The key is to be open and receptive, setting the intention to receive guidance within the context of one’s current belief system (e.g., as a human being).

Listen and follow: The core message is to pay attention to intuitive guidance, however it presents itself.

Guidance comes in many forms: It’s not limited to an audible voice; it could be through people, signs, feelings or unexpected events.

Set your intention: Actively seek guidance by stating your willingness to receive it within your current frame of reference.

The Holy Spirit uses symbols of time and space: Guidance isn’t always direct or obvious; it might appear subtly within everyday life.
Pay attention: Being mindful and observant is crucial for recognizing guidance when it appears.

Let go of fear-based decisions. Trust and relax into the care of your Inner Teacher.

You don’t need to figure it out. Just be willing to ask, and then listen.
